Radio Classics Schedule for Week of April 5th - 11th, 2009 - PDF Version and the Excel Version
As this week is the first week of Major League Baseball action, we bring back Gary Cooper as ill-fated Yankees slugger Lou Gehrig in Lux Radio Theatre's version of "Pride Of The Yankees." It also is the week of golf's first major, The Masters. So we'll have links legend Bobby Jones on The Bob Hope Show; Jack Benny hitting the links; and an X Minus One episode where advanced technology meets golf, I am not talking about a hot new driver or putter!
Last but not least, Harry Morgan is 94 on the 10th! Best known on television for playing Colonel Sherman Potter on M.A.S.H (not to mention Joe Friday's partner Bill Gannon on the 1960s Dragnet) on Radio Classics he will be heard narrating Mystery In The Air starring Peter Lorre.
